He completed his Fellowship Training at Harvard Medical School in Boston and is Board Certified in Neurology as well as Neuromuscular Medicine. His areas of specialty include neuromuscular diseases such as neuropathy, neurodiagnostics such as NCS/EMG testing, nerve injuries and entrapments such as carpal tunnel syndrome, spinal disease, and all areas of general neurology. He also has a particular interest in Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) .
Dr. Kitei obtained his Master’s Degree in Global Medicine before starting Medical School because of his interest in the Mind/Body connection and was appointed Chief Resident at the University of Connecticut Neurology Residency. He also obtained extra neuromuscular training at Stanford University and The University of California at San Francisco.
Dr. Kitei’s caring nature and attention to detail make patients feel at ease, and he enjoys taking time to educate patients and thoroughly answer their questions. He loves outdoor activities and spending time with his family.
